Experiential Learning

Experiential Learning Services

Learning is most effective when it involves active participation. Experiential learning aims not to teach concepts, skills and value, but empowers people to change the way they think and behave. In an experiential learning programme the learners are ‘on their feet’, the mind, body and emotions are all engaged. ‘Learning by doing’ dynamically engages the participant, making team building training an active process rather than the more traditional style training where participants are mere passive recipients of information.

If you want to inspire fresh, out-of-the-box thinking, you have to take people ‘out of the box’. Facilitated team building training and experiential learning does this in two ways. Firstly, by bringing people outside of their normal working environment, and secondly by helping people to see the barriers they put up – barriers that could keep them from contributing to the success of their organisation.
