Team Profile Martin Dunn

Martin Dunn joined Kippure at the beginning of 2009, taking on the role of Activities Manager. His enthusiasm and professionalism soon saw him become the Head of Activities, Education & Training, as well as working as our training facilitator.

A graduate from Liverpool John Moores University, Martin has a BSc Hons degree in Outdoor & Environmental Education and his passion for outdoor learning shines through everything he does. In addition to his academic qualifications, he also holds qualifications in rock climbing, mountaineering and water sports, giving him a firm knowledge base across a wide range of skills in the outdoor industry.

With over 15 years’ experience in instructing outdoor activities, Martin really knows how to bring out the best in everyone he works with. Over the years, he has developed and facilitated countless team building events and educational programmes for corporate clients, senior sporting teams and youth services, making sure that each activity is specifically tailored to the participants.

During his time at Kippure Estate, Martin has worked alongside international training facilitators to support their work with high performance management teams. Together, they have custom-designed a variety of programmes covering a broad range of topics, as well as designing team building programmes for groups from six to 400 delegates.

For the past three years, as well as carrying out his duties for Kippure, Martin has been working as a training consultant for the IMI (Irish Management Institute), facilitating on their leadership diploma course.

Martin has a wealth of knowledge and experience in running outdoor experiential leadership and management training programmes for various institutions and training companies, meaning that the work he does for Kippure Estate is always of an exceptionally high standard.
